This locomotive has entered service at Deutsche Bundesbahn on 12 january 1965 in Düsseldorf. Until 1970 she did her service here. From june 1970 until january 1987 the engine was stationed in Hagen-Eckesey. After that until 1993 in Hamm and then until march 1997 in Mönchengladbach.
On 10 march 1997 waggon manufacturer Talbot in Aachen bought the locomotive for shunting on the works yard.
It was given the number T24.
On 6 november 1997 the locomotive had a mayor overhaul at Siemens in Moers and it was painted in the Bombardier-Talbot company colours.
After a collision on the yard, the locomotive had such a damage that repairing was not profitable for Talbot. For scrapprice ZLSM was able to take over the locomotive. After inspecting the technical condition and testrunning the dieselengine, the loco is brought from Aachen to Simpelveld on 27 january.
In 2000 the locomotive had a mayor overhaul of construction and engine, and since then it is used mainly for shunting and work trains.
